Configure Computer for a Wi-Fi Connection.

*Note that TOAST.net can not provide technical support for 3rd party wireless routers and devices. The device manufacturer should be consulted for configuration assistance.
 





Windows XP Wireless Setup:
  1. Double click Wireless Network Icon on the lower right side of the Windows Tool Tray.

     
  2. Click on your wireless network.
      
     
  3. Enter your given Wireless Password, and confirm the password if prompted.
  4. Windows will indicate you are connected to your wireless device. You should now be able to access the Internet.

     




 

Windows Vista:

  1. Double-click the Networking icon on the lower right side of the Toolbar
     
     
  2. Click on Connect to a network on the menu.
      
     
  3. Choose your wireless network:
    -Make sure the Show menu is set to Wireless (1).
    -Double click on your Wireless Network.(2).  
     
  4. Enter your given Wireless Password.  
     
  5. Windows should display a screen showing you have successfully connected with your wireless connection. You should now be able to access the Internet..




Windows 7
 
  1. Click on the "Wireless" icon in the lower right corner of the Windows Toolbar.

     
  2. Select your wireless network and click the Connect button.
  3. Enter your provided wireless password when prompted. You should now be able to access the Internet.
 
 Windows 8
 
  1. Click in the upper right corner of the screen to show the "charms bar", then click the Settings icon.


     
  2. Click the "Wireless Network" icon (it should be labeled "Available if there is an available wireless network).


     
  3. Click on the wireless network you wish to connect to.


     
  4. Make sure Connect automatically is checked, and then click Connect.


     
  5. Enter the wireless password supplied with your device.


     
  6. You may be prompted to share other devices (printers, other computers, etc) over your wireless network. Click yes or no depending on if you want to be able to print or share files between your computers.


     
  7. When successfully connected, you will see "Connected" on your Wireless Network list.

  8. Press the Windows key on your keyboard to return to your main screen. Setup is complete.
 
 
  1. Click on the Connection icon located in the System Tray.


     
  2. Click on Network settings.
     
  3. Click on the wireless network you wish to connect to.


     
  4. Make sure Connect automatically is checked, and then click Connect.


     
  5. Enter the wireless password supplied with your device. Click Next.


     
  6. You may be prompted to share other devices (printers, other computers, etc) over your wireless network. Click yes or no depending on if you want to be able to print or share files between your computers.
     
  7. When successfully connected, you will see "Connected" on your Wireless Network list.
 

Mac OSX 10.5 or Greater
  1. On the upper-right side of the top Toolbar, click the "Wireless" symbol.

     
  2. A list of available wireless networks will be displayed. Choose your wireless connection.

     
  3. When prompted, enter your assigned Wireless Password, then click Connect. You should now be able to connect to the Internet.
