In order to connect an Android to a wireless network please follow these steps:
Click on the Apps button on the home screen of your device.
Click on Settings.
Ensure that the Wi-Fi is turned On. Once it is blue and says On, click on Wi-Fi to open the Wi-Fi settings.
Click on the network that the device needs to connect to.
Enter the wireless password in the new field.
*FOR DG860 WIRELESS CABLE MODEMS ONLY:
The default WiFi password for your cable modem will be listed on a sticker on the back of the modem located next to "Pre-Shared Key:". Below is a picture for reference:
If it is continually saying that it is a bad password, consider selecting Show Password, which is located below the password entry field.
Once the correct password has been entered the prompt will disappear and the device will be connected to the network.
