Set Up Corporate Mail - Android phone or Tablet

 
Applies to: TOAST.net Corporate Mail users that wish to sync their email, contacts, and calendars with an Android based phone or tablet.

These instructions may vary slightly due to manufacturer modifications to the device and various versions of Android. To configure your Android phone or tablet:
  1. On your Android device, select the "Menu" button on the bottom on the phone, and then select Settings.
  2. Select + Add Account, Accounts, or Accounts & Sync (varies depending on device):


     
  3. Select Corporate, Corporate Sync, or Exchange Activesync (varies depending on phone manufacturer):


     
  4. Enter your e-mail address and your password. 
    (Some phones require you to click Next after this step.):



     
  5. Leave Domain blank.
  6. For Username use the complete email address.
  7. Make sure the email account password is entered.
  8. For Server, Mail Server, or Exchange Server, enter mail.corp.toast.net.
  9. Check Use Secure Connection (SSL).


     
  10. Select Next and configure your personal preferences for the frequency and amount of data to synchronize.


     
  11. Press Next again, and configure your name as well as the connection name and select Done.


     
  12. Synchronization may take 15-20 minutes to complete depending on the amount of information in your mailbox.
Your Android powered device is now configured to synchronize data with your Corporate Mail account.
