Set up Sub-Account on Android Phone or Tablet

Summary:
Configure an Android phone/tablet for a TOAST.net sub-account (@toast2.net, email.toast.net, butter.toast.net, jelly.toast.net, etc.). Note that contact and calendar sync is not supported.
These instructions/screens may vary due to individual manufacturer modifications.
On your Android device, select the "Menu" button on the bottom on the phone, and then select
Settings
.

Add Account, New Account,

Accounts & Sync
(varies depending on device):

Email
as the account type:
Select
Other
(POP3/IMAP) as the account type.
Enter your
email address
and
password.
Select
IMAP
as the account type.
Enter the following for Incoming Mail:
Username: <
your full email address>
Password: <
your password>
IMAP Server:
(The
Server Hostname
obtained from the
Email Setup Wizard
)
Security Type:
SSL
Port:
993
Enter the following for Outgoing server settings:
Require Sign-In:
checked
Username: <
your full email address>

Optional:
Enter your desired check intervals. Recommended range is 15-30 minutes (note that setting more frequent checks may affect your phone's battery life). You can also choose to make this account the default sending account and set the notification option.
Enter a name for your account (Example- Office Email) and Your Name (this displays when sending and replying).
Your Inbox will now synchronize your email with the mail server. This may take several minutes depending on your Internet connection speed and the amount of email in your mailbox.
