Set the following:
Enable SSID Broadcast:
Checked
Enable Wireless Isolation:
Unchecked
Name (SSID):
Usually user's last name (optional)

Leave default! (printed on sticker on bottom of the modem)

Advanced Settings
Bridge Mode
To turn off the router function of the Netgear DGN2200 so you can use a 3rd party router with the modem:
Select
Advanced Setup
from the
Advanced
menu and click on
Device Mode

For Device Mode, choose:
Modem Only
.
Block Sites
Websites can be blocked based on keywords, and blocking can be set on a schedule using the
Block Sites
feature.
Select
Administration
from the
Advanced
menu and click on
Block Sites
.
Under
Keyword Blocking
, choose your schedule.
Enter a list of keywords that you wish to block.
Click
Apply
when complete.
