Accessing the router/modem

Open your web browser and go to the address http://192.168.0.1

When prompted for a password, enter:
Username: admin
Password: password

Once logged in, the modem will automatically check for new firmware updates. When complete, choose
Port Forwarding/Port Triggering from the left menu. You'll see a menu with "pre-assigned" port forwarding services. If your specific service isn't listed, you can click Add Custom Service to open ports on your connection.

Set the Service Name, choose the service type (TCP, UDP, or Both), and add your ports. If you only need one port opened, simply add the same number as both the starting and ending ports. Enter the IP address of the computer you want the ports assigned to on your network, and click Apply.
