To migrate Google Drive data to a personal Google Account, please follow these steps:
- Go to Google Takeout and log in with old Google account.
- Just select Drive from the list and click Next.
- Select "Create archive" and the Archive will be prepared.
- Select Download under Details to download Drive files.
- Unzip files to a folder.
- Log into new Google account and go to Drive.
- Go to setting and select “Convert uploaded files to Google Docs editor format.”
- Choose New - File Upload and select files from Takeout folder.
- If using Google Chrome, files from unzipped Takeout folder can be "dragged and dropped" to Drive.
- If files were shared they will need to be re-shared.
