Download your data using Google Takeout

Applies to: Customers whose mailbox is being migrated from G Suite to SmarterMail and would like to keep their Google-specific data.
Google Takeout allows users of Google products (Drive, Photos, YouTube, etc.) to archive their data to a downloadable ZIP file so that it can be used in another service, kept as a copy for your records, or imported to another Google account. If you used these Google services, we recommend you do a one-time backup of your data by following these steps: 
  1. Go to Google Takeout and sign in with your email address and password.
  2. Leave all products selected and click Next.
  3. Leave file type as Zip, delivery method via email, and click "Create archive"
  4. You'll receive an email when the archive is ready. Click the link in the email, sign in, and download the archive to your local device (PC, laptop, etc.).
After your mailbox is migrated you'll be able to create a free Google account to continue using these services. See this KB article.
