To change the Wi-Fi name/password on your Hitron Coda-4582 modem, do the following:
1. Ensure the modem is powered on.
2. Connect a device to the modems network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
3. Preferably on a computer, access the modem's admin interface through a web browser by going to address 192.168.0.1
4. Login to the admin interface with the following credentials
- Username: "cusadmin" or "admin" (all lowercase)
- Password: Default login for your Wi-Fi connection or the one you setup during the first time connection (located on the sheet TOAST.net provided with the modem)
5. Once logged in click the "Wireless" tab at the top of the screen.
6. By default you will be on the 2.4G tab. Underneath "Multiple SSID Settings" you can update the "Network Name (SSID)" and "Password" fields.
7. After you have updated the name and password here on the
2.4G tab, click on the
5Gtab and update the credentials there as well.
NOTE: It is recommended to make both passwords the same and to put a -5G at the end of the 5G network name to distinguish between the two when connecting devices.

8. After you have entered your desired credentials. Click the blue "Save Changes" button near the bottom left of the screen. The network may reboot to apply the changes. If you are connected via Wi-Fi, you'll be disconnected and must reconnect using the new credentials.
