How-To Remove Incorrect Email Addresses From the Auto-Complete List in SmarterMail

Managing TOAST.net Auto-Complete Addresses

When composing an email in TOAST.net webmail, the auto-complete feature suggests previously used email addresses. If you send an email to a new recipient, that address is automatically saved for future use.

If you have saved an incorrect email address and wish to remove it from your suggestions, follow the steps below.

This article only pertains to the TOAST.net webmail.

1) Select 'New' on the top of the page, then select 'Email'

2) Begin typing into the address bar.  If an email has been sent previously, the auto-complete feature will give you suggestions as to what you might be typing.

3) To remove an email from your auto-complete, click the 'x' on the right side and that will completely remove that email from the SmaterMail auto-complete email bank.

Note: This process only removes addresses stored in your auto-complete cache. If an incorrect email address appears because it is saved in your Contacts, you cannot remove it using this method; you must instead edit or delete the entry within your Address Book.
