Set up iPhone or iPad (ActiveSync Email)

This guide will walk you through setting up your TOAST.net email on your iPhone or iPad using Microsoft Exchange (ActiveSync). This method syncs your email, calendar, and contacts.

1. On your device's home screen, tap the Settings button.
   

2. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings, select Apps > Mail > Mail Accounts > Add Account
   
   

3. Select choose from a list (It is the blue text below the email field)
   
   

4. Select Microsoft Exchange
   
   

5. Type your SmarterMail tied to Toast.net, then apply a description of choice.

6. Select Next.  Then Configure Manually on the pop up screen.
   
   

7. Type your SmarterMail password, then select Next > OK > Save > Save > Save.
   

8. This will bring you back to the Mail Accounts page. Select Exchange (or whatever you put for step 5) > Account Settings

9. Update the page information to reflect the following:
   
   Email: Your SmarterMail address
   Server: Mail.toast.net
   Domain: Optional
   Username: Your SmarterMail address
   Password: Your SmarterMail password (Will display as •••••••••)
   
   

10. Press the blue Done button on the top right.
