Start Page - Set as your Home Page

The TOAST.net Start Page brings together all the tools and services you normally use on one convenient page.  It features quick access to your email, news, weather, stocks, games, shopping, search, account controls, and more! To set the TOAST.net Start page as your home page, find your web browser and follow the steps.

Chrome

Option #1 (preferred) - Start Page opens on Startup
  1. Click the 3 vertical dots  in the top right
  2. Click Settings and scroll down to On Startup
  3. Click "Open a specific page or set of pages" > Add a new page
  4. Enter start.toast.net in the Site URL box > Add
  5. Close out of Chrome - when you reopen Chrome, your new TOAST.net start page will be set
Option #2 - Open Start Page via Home Button
  1. Click and drag the start page link onto the home icon at the top left of your screen. Link: start.toast.net The home icon on your screen will look like this and is usually found at the top left of the browser window.
  2. After you have dragged and dropped the link onto the home button, you home page should then be set to the TOAST.net start page. Now, whenever you click the home icon, it will take you to the start page. 

Safari

  1. Click Safari from the menu bar and select Preferences
  2. Change the address next to Home page to: start.toast.net
  3. Close the Preferences window. 
  4. Close out of Safari - when you reopen Safari, your new TOAST.net start page will be set

Edge

Option #1 (preferred) - Start Page opens on Startup
  1. Click the Menu button   and then select Settings.
  2. Select "Start, Home, and new tab page" from the list of options on the left-hand side of the window.
  3. In the tab "On startup," select the option that says "Open custom sites:"
  4. Click "Add site" Type start.toast.net in the "Enter a URL" box, then click Add.
  5. Close out of Edge - when you reopen Edge, your new TOAST.net start page will be set.
Option #2 - Open Start Page via Home Button
  1. Click and drag the start page link onto the home icon at the top left of your screen.

    The home icon on your screen will look like this and is usually found at the top left of the browser window.
  2. After you have dragged and dropped the link onto the home button, your home page should then be set to the TOAST.net start page. Now, whenever you click the home icon, it will take you to the start page.

Firefox

  1. Click the Menu button Chrome menu and then select "Settings".
  2. On the Options window, select  "Home".
  3. Change the dropdown next to "Homepage and new windows" from "Firefox Home (Default)" to "Custom URLs..."
  4. Type start.toast.net in the "Paste a URL" box
  5. Close out of Firefox - when you reopen Firefox, your new TOAST.net start page will be set
