Set Up Corporate Mail - Blackberry

Applies to: Customers using TOAST.net Corporate Mail wishing to synchronize email, contacts, and calendars with their Blackberry device. If Blackberry Management is not enabled on your mailbox, contact TOAST.net.

These steps will require a USB cable for your device and the Blackberry Desktop software must be installed on your computer. Setup requires Internet Explorer.

To configure your Blackberry device:

  1. Log in to your Corporate Mail account using Microsoft Internet Explorer.
  2. Click Options ยป BlackBerry Management.
  3. Allow the Active-X control to install and run when prompted.
  4. Add mail.corp.toast.net as a Trusted Site in Internet Explorer:
    -Click Internet Explorer's Tool button, and then click Internet Options.
    -Click the Security tab, and then click Trusted.
    -Click Sites.
    -
    Add http:/mail.corp.toast.net to the field. Click Add.
    -Make sure "If the site is not a secure site (HTTPS), clear the Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone" is unchecked.
    -Click Close, and then click OK.
  5. Plug in your BlackBerry device to your computer using a USB cable.
  6. Click Activate Device under the "Wired Activation" section. When the wired portion of the activation process is complete, you will see the following message: "Wired activation complete. You may disconnect the USB cable. Enterprise activation will continue on the device." 
  7. Disconnect your device from the computer. The activation process will continue on the device until it is finished.
  8. Synchronization will complete in 15-20 minutes, depending on the amount of data in your mailbox.
  9. Your Blackberry device is now configured.
